Three things that hold each other together
Invoices
- An amount and a due date, with a status you see by colour
- Partial payments, with the remainder worked out for you
- A payment is recorded on an invoice with the date, time and method you choose, and each payment has its voucher — deleting it reverses every effect
- And an advance payment before the invoice arrives: it applies to the oldest pending invoice, and whatever is left stays as a credit deducted from the next
- Filter between two dates — invoices by due date, payments by payment date — and export what you see
- When you pay: the amount, the invoice number and the entity name copy with one tap, ready to paste into your bank app
- A duplicate invoice is caught before saving — by entity and number
- Invoices that generate themselves: monthly, quarterly, yearly, or every few days, numbered from your prefix
- Attachments: a photo of the invoice or the payment receipt
- Your currency by its name, shown where you choose
Entities
- Each entity and everything you owe it, on one card — with what you want in it: contact details, address, bank details and fields you add
- A credit balance for every entity — from what you paid in advance or overpaid — deducted on its own from its next invoices, with its movement history
- Merge two entities entered twice · archive the ones you no longer deal with
- A VAT number is linked to its entity once, and the code reader recognises it on every invoice after that
Tasks
- A task with its date, time and priority, and a checklist inside it
- It closes itself when every item is ticked, and reopens if you untick one
- Templates that repeat with their items: daily, on weekdays you choose, every few days, or monthly, quarterly or yearly
- And every task has its own reminder: a day, a time and a repeat you choose
- Filter by state: overdue · today · in progress · done · no date
- Room for what isn't financial at all
One notification in the morning, one in the evening
Not a notification per invoice — a single digest twice a day: overdue first, then due today, then this week, with the total. And every task has its reminder on its day and time.
- One master switch stops both digests, and you choose their hours
- Auto-generated invoices notify you the number of days ahead that you pick
- And if your phone stops a notification from arriving on time, the app tells you, and what to change in the phone's settings so it does
Invoice QR scanning
Point the camera at the code on an invoice — or pick a PDF or a saved image — and the app reads the seller, the amount, the tax and the date, and fills in the fields. It reads the Saudi (ZATCA), Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish and Indian formats. All processing happens on your device — no image is stored or sent.
What it reads is a suggestion to review: the amount, the date and the entity name. If the name on the invoice differs from the one you have, choose your entity once — its VAT number is linked to it, and every invoice after that is saved under your name for it, not the invoice's.
Pass it across with the camera
Point your phone's camera — or a colleague's — at the other phone's screen, and the invoice or the entity card arrives with all its details in seconds. If an entity card holds a lot of data, the app shows it as several codes, scanned one after another in any order until it is complete. No internet, no file sent, no image stored. The code is drawn on one screen and read from it; nothing passes in between.
It shows you what arrived field by field, and nothing is saved until you approve.
Your data stays with you — and moves with you
Everything lives on your device, and the backup is yours: the app saves a copy on its own after every operation that touches money, before any restore or wipe, and daily at a time you set — and writes it to your Documents folder so it survives uninstalling the app. Move it to a new device and everything comes back exactly as you left it.

- An incoming file is checked before it is accepted — a corrupted backup is not imported
- Saved backups are gathered in one place, each named by its reason: open them, share them, delete what you don't want — and set how many to keep
- And if your data ever fails to open, nothing is deleted: the app sets it aside under its own name and tells you why
- And if you want to start over: wipe the financial data or all of it, with a confirmation word you type yourself — and a backup is saved first
What you put in comes back out
Your data is not locked inside the app. Export to Excel or PDF whenever you want, and import from Excel. And every entity has a complete statement you can read and send to it.
Share what you have, any way you like
The backup, the Excel and PDF files and an entity's statement all leave through your phone's share sheet: Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, WhatsApp, Telegram, email, or any app you have. And the other way round: a PDF invoice or an image that reaches you in any app — share it to AwanPro and it opens it and reads its code.
Every movement is written down
A log records what happened: a payment posted, a voucher cancelled and its effects reversed, an invoice deleted, two entities merged, a credit applied. So when a figure differs from what you remember, you can see when it changed and why.

Ten languages, Arabic first
The app is Arabic by origin, not translated into it: direction, numerals and dates are built around it. Alongside it: English, French, Spanish, German, Turkish, Portuguese, Hindi, Chinese and Urdu. The theme is light, dark, or whatever your phone is set to.

“For years I looked for an app that would do a few specific things: keep track of my invoices and their due dates, help me organise them and pay them on time, and — when I pay — let me switch to my bank app with the amount, the invoice number and the note ready to paste, so I never type anything by hand. And track my tasks and their checklist items alongside. I tried dozens of apps, free and paid, and none of them fit.
So I decided to build it. I started AwanPro as a web app for myself — it is still not open to the public — and after months of development, hundreds of releases and daily use, it did what I wanted; over time it gained features and became better than what I had set out for, and it became part of my day. So I thought: why not a version others could benefit from? That became AwanPro for Android — I offer it to you, hoping you find it as useful as I have.”
